Lightening a Serious Message
Watersports are now enjoyed by a vast number of people. Many of the new participants are unaware of the dangers of the water and merely want to have fun. We therefore had to appeal in a different language from that traditionally used by the RNLI, so they might listen and understand. This is the “Serious Fun” campaign that has resulted in deeper respect for the sea amongst those new to the leisure marine sector.
